Our most popular podcasts of 2014!

Happy New Year from the Enterprise Europe index.jpgNetwork Scotland team!

2014 was an amazing year in Scotland; so many events, the year of homecoming, the XXth Commonwealth Games and the Ryder Cup, not to mention the referendum.

Our podcasts changed as well (did you notice?) with the new and very popular H2020 Hacks series as well as an evolving show format and style.

It's time for our annual review of the preceding year and so here are our three most popular podcasts from 2014!

3. Horizon 2020 Hacks : Part One in June was the first episode in the Horizon 2020 Hacks series. We kicked off the series in grand style with guest Bruce Ainsley, a project evaluator with many years’ experience. Bruce described who Horizon 2020 is designed for, what kind of projects fit the Horizon 2020 programme and how those projects should fit your business strategy.

We discussed what makes a great project application, what makes a good consortium and what makes a good proposal. Loads of great tips that will help applicants increase their chances of success.

2. SME Instrument looks for Champions This podcast is focused on the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument and in particular the most recent briefing (March 2014) on eligibility, evaluation and tips for success.

The podcast contains important information that will help you decide how to prepare and how to write your application.

And so dear listeners, we arrive at the most popular podcast of 2014.

Remember we said the year 2014 was a big year for Scotland?  It felt like the world visited us to take part in The Year of Homecoming and two world-class events, the XXth Commonwealth Games which Glasgow hosted over 11 days in July and the 40th Ryder Cup  staged at historic Gleneagles in September.

All of the Enterprise Europe Network Scotland team will be forever proud of the way that Scotland delivered these events and our most popular podcast (by far) was published in April and it focussed on the opportunities available to Scottish organisations from the XXth Commonwealth Games Legacy programme.

The most popular podcast of 2014 is Golden opportunities with the Commonwealth Games Legacy !
