In this podcast Ken and Anis talk about the EU R&D funding programme called FP7.
FP7 is the short name for the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development. This is the EU's main instrument for funding research in Europe and runs from 2007 to 2013, with a budget of over € 50 billion.
It supports innovation significantly in advance of state of the art. Audacious innovation across many technological and other themes.
All projects are collaborative and project outcomes are usually 5 to 10 years from market introduction.
Want to join an FP7 consortium? The Enterprise Europe Network manages the worlds largest partner finding network. Check our website for projects looking for partners.
